Position DetailsPosition InformationPosition Title Part-Time Academic (SPAN 1022.03: Beginning Spanish II) - Section 5 - Winter 2026Posting Number PTAP3106PDepartment/Unit Spanish & Latin American StudiesLocation Halifax, Nova Scotia, CanadaJob Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesA part-time academic is required to teach Spanish 1022.03: Beginning Spanish II – Section 5 - Winter Term 2026 (January 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026). Currently Scheduled: T/R 0835 – 0955The Part-Time Academic is responsible for planning and leading individual classes, administering tests, grading assignments, keeping records and the calculation of final grades. The Part-Time Academic is required to be available to students outside of class time.Qualifications/Requirements Of PositionApplicants should have native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish and possess a graduate degree in a relevant area.
