Gourmet Food Parlour have an exciting opportunity in their restaurant in Brown Thomas, located in the heart of Dublin's iconic department store. Our restaurant offers an elegant and vibrant dining experience, celebrated for exceptional service, refined cuisine, and a curated selection of wines and cocktails. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Front of House staff member to become a part of our team on a part time basis.Qualifications, Abilities, And SkillsPrevious experience in a Front of House waiting staff role. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to excel in upselling. Profound knowledge of food, allergen awareness, and menu details. Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills. Ability to maintain organization, stock, and cleanliness at bar and waitress stations. Skilled in preparing and remembering cocktail recipes. Comprehensive understanding of the entire menu offerings. Capable of recommending options based on customer preferences. Respond promptly and courteously to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints. Accurately manage cash and credit card payments following established procedures. Adhere to relevant health and safety standards. Ensure thorough cleaning of the bar and floor area, as well as all equipment, and reset and restock for the next shift as required. Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of prior experience as waiting staff is essential.
