This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and occasional in-person meetings.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, create monthly P & L statements. Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes. Assist with tax preparation and liaise with external accountants as needed. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and efficiencies.Requirements: Proven minimum three years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP and small business accounting practices. Professional references required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
