Part-time instructors may teach one or two classes per semester and focus on retention initiatives (maintaining an up-to-date gradebook in the learning management system, using the Success Portal to set early alerts for attendance and academic progress, and connecting students with support services) while also working with coordinators for First-Year Writing and World Literature. Successful candidates who can teach on-campus classes are preferred, but we sometimes need online classes as well.
