IntroductionEcosystem partners are vital to driving growth across IBM’s Hybrid Cloud and AI strategy. The Partner Marketing Manager for Regional Value-Added Distributors (VADs) and System Integrators (SIs) plays a key role in expanding IBM’s mindshare and generating demand through this partner set. This role is responsible for aligning global partner marketing strategies with sales objectives and regional execution needs, while continuously improving and simplifying the partner experience.Your Role And ResponsibilitiesAs the marketing lead for IBM’s regional service partners and distributors, you will serve as the primary marketing liaison across geographies. You’ll develop global engagement and expansion plans that drive pipeline and revenue growth by leveraging a deep understanding of clients, partners, and market dynamics.Key Responsibilities Include Strategy & ExecutionDesign and implement marketing strategies for regional VADs focused on demand generation, pipeline acceleration, partner acquisition and expansion, and enablement.Develop global marketing plans for regional system integrators aimed at driving pipeline and revenue growth. Program DevelopmentCreate scalable, targeted global marketing programs aligned with IBM’s strategic priorities, including key products, SaaS offerings, and the growth client segment.Collaborate with channel sales teams to co-create programs that support shared business goals. Partner Engagement & AdvocacyAct as a subject matter expert to educate VADs and SIs on IBM marketing resources, including co-marketing opportunities and best practices.Represent the voice of the partner within IBM to ensure their needs and feedback inform marketing strategies. Integration & OptimizationChampion the inclusion of partners in IBM-led marketing initiatives and events to maximize impact and efficiency.Use data and analytics to monitor partner performance, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and continuously optimize marketing efforts.Preferred EducationMaster's DegreeRequired Technical And Professional Expertise Experience in marketing, with a focus on demand generation program management. Understanding business partners, distributors, or third-party organizations. Proficiency in using data analytics tools to monitor and measure marketing performance Budget management skills, including oversight of marketing investments. Ability to manage process controls and ensure compliance across marketing activities. Excellent written and oral English communication skills; the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels including executive stakeholders.Preferred Technical And Professional ExperienceB2B partner marketing experience, with an understanding of partner business models and varying levels of marketing maturity. Experience designing and executing campaigns to recruit and activate partners or clients. Familiarity with agentic workflows and how to leverage them for marketing efficiency and scale.
