Job Description

The parts counter associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles or equipment. The parts counter man plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining inventory accuracy. Job Duties: Greet customers and identify their parts needs by asking relevant questions and listening attentively. Look up parts in the inventory system or parts catalog to determine availability and pricing. Provide accurate and detailed information to customers regarding parts specifications, compatibility, and installation. Recommend additional parts or accessories that may be needed based on customer requirements.

Process parts orders, including accurately entering part numbers, quantities, and customer information into the computer system. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts department by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and keeping work areas tidy. Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with other team members, such as service technicians and sales staff, to ensure efficient and effective customer service. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and changes in parts inventory. Follow company policies and procedures related to parts sales, returns, and inventory management.
