Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Parts Development Implementation Buyer Assistant Manager located in the Greater Savannah Area. The role involves overseeing parts development and supplier management to ensure timely, cost-efficient procurement of high-quality components. Key responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and streamlining processes related to procurement and production. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for helping to achieve timelines for new product launches and addressing supply chain challenges. Qualifications Procurement and supplier management skills, including expertise in supply chain management and cost analysisStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building competencies for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teamsProficiency in data analysis, budgeting, reporting, and process optimizationKnowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the automotive or EV industry, and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirementsAbility to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fieldPrevious experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations preferredProficiency in standard business systems, such as ERP or MRP software, is advantageous
