Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Patent Paralegal to join our intellectual property team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with patent laws and regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and filing of patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)Conduct prior art searches and analyze patentability of inventionsMaintain and manage patent prosecution dockets, including deadlines and correspondenceDraft and prepare legal documents, including responses to office actions and appealsCommunicate with inventors and clients regarding patent-related mattersConduct research on patent law and provide support for litigation mattersCoordinate with foreign associates for international patent filingsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldA minimum of 2 years of experience as a patent paralegalStrong understanding of patent law and proceduresExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in patent management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
