Team members contribute directly to Firm flows, providing Financial Advisors with lead opportunities that generate Net New Asset growth.In this role, you will support the team's reporting and analytics needs, to facilitate strategic discussions with internal stakeholders and senior executives.As an associate in the team, (In this role?) you will contribute to the strategic discussions with internal stakeholders, help drive alignment on key decisions with partners across the firm, and assist in executing those decisions with efficiency and accuracyIn this role, you will support the team's reporting and analytics needs, to facilitate strategic discussions with internal stakeholders and senior executives.The role will require a person who is capable of statistical modelling, querying data, and quantitative analysis on complex issues to drive key initiatives forward to help rapidly grow our businessThe ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of critical thinking, performing analysis, and partnering with other stakeholders to solve complex issuesKey ResponsibilitiesLead development of centralized reporting infrastructure, to create efficiencies across multiple workstreamsEnhance use of data visualization tools to shape organizational strategy and drive decision-makingConduct data analysis, querying, and statistical modelling to create analytical insights for senior managementSupport the development of strategies that help participants achieve financial goals through positioning of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management services and solutionsSupport ad-hoc technology needs internally within team and externally with stakeholders and partnersPerform data analyses to help drive insights and conclusions, including financial modelingPartnering with stakeholders to evolve, integrate, and drive initiative strategyExperience3-5 years in top-tier management consulting, engineering, technology, or financial services firmExperience in financial services preferred, Wealth Management expertise a plus.Skills RequiredData analysis experience and robust quantitative skillsProficiency querying data (i.e., SQL or Dataiku)Data Visualization (i.e., Tableau and/or Power BI)Advanced ExcelPreferred: Proficiency with Python and RDetail and results-oriented individualProven ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time; comfortably managing to tight deadlines and changing prioritiesSelf-starter with a passion to deliver resultsStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, including written and verbal communicationsExcellent interpersonal skills, including collaborative work style and professional maturityWhat You Can Expect From Morgan StanleyWe are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
