Your RoleYou are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residenceYou can provide outstanding customer serviceYou have excellent communication skillsThe Patient Transfer Attendant position in Sarnia is a unionized position.RequirementsYour ProfileYou must possess the following qualifications:You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder CertificationYou have a Valid CPR and First Aid (Level C)You possess a valid G class driving licenseYou have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partnerYou can effectively communicate in both verbal and written EnglishYou are a safe driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screeningYou have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
