U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceSecurity Clearance: DoD Clearance: SecretJob Description:The MIR will assist with testing, checkout, maintenance and repair of all Patriot major end items. The MIR will provide the expertise necessary to assist with single repairs, and those repairs that involve multiple end items. The MIR will act as the primary point of contact for the contractor when information is required for repair actions, procedures, solutions, and provide support to KAF contact teams. Additionally, the MIR will assist with preparations, integration and demonstration of pre, and post C-3 modified systems.The MIR will provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems. The MIR will provide day-to-day execution on the Kuwait Patriot TA program as well as demonstrate the ability to perform depot level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup and repair capability for Patriot Weapon System MEIs. The MIR must affect all electronic repairs on location with detailed system knowledge, the ability to use all the hardware and software tools currently available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance.What You Will Do:This position also requires logistics experience as the role is to provide logistics support and services, logistics provisioning, analysis, data, and guidance. This position will also require tracking parts and incorporate in the Next Higher Assemblies (NHA) and assets installed into baselined Major Equipment Items (MEI). The logistics MIR will be the main focal point for the creation of the estimate Bill of Material (BOM) by coordinating with hardware, maintenance and other functions involved with the final priced Bill of material (BOM).This position is located in Kuwait.Qualifications You Must HaveSuccessful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 14E/27X/34S/94S/916A/918D or an equivalent course of instruction on a similar electronic system conducted by the military or the system contractorDemonstrated 4 years of field maintenance experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verifications of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems using maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, BITE, tools and available test equipmentDemonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include system integration and checkoutSecret Security Clearance requiredAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Experience creating tailored reports in Microsoft Excel from external and often compiled data sources.Advanced experience using inventory, maintenance, and baseline configuration control database software systems.Ability to read and understand technical drawings.Experience with spares analysis and procurement.Familiarity with Turn Around Time (TAT) analysis.Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Above qualifications plus five (5) years Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experienceDemonstrated experience with Raytheon Quality Control proceduresDemonstrated experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and Enhanced Deep MaintenanceExperience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processesDemonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics SupportDemonstrated comprehensive planning skillsExceptional judgment and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the businessProficient with Microsoft Office and ProjectDemonstrated experience with training of team membersPrevious experience in International Patriot FMS ProgramsExperience living and working in an overseas locationRaytheon Six Sigma CertifiedRequired Education:Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of relevant experienceMust have a minimum of 4 years of field maintenance experience in isolating and correcting malfunctions in the Patriot system, or a High School Degree/GED with equivalent job-related experience based on four (4) additional years of experience for each one (1) year of higher education.Certified Patriot System Repairer (94S)What We Offer:Whether you’re just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a total rewards package that goes above and beyond with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement, and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
