The RoleThis position will perform a variety of operational functions in the production of food, packaged and other food products in accordance with the organisation’s quality, safety and production standards.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;Understanding and adhering to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job function or assignment before commencing workWillingness to operate food processing equipmentOccasionally handle meat products such as chicken, beef or porkMaintaining good housekeeping and a clean work area in the assigned work areaMeeting production output and standards within agreed timeCommitting to and contributing to quality and improvement initiativesResponsible for supporting the plan to implement a site wide ongoing Food Safety Culture PlanEnsuring adherence to WHS policies and ProceduresOther ad hoc duties as per directedAbout YouYou will have previous experience in this space, ideally within a food FMCG environment, however not essential.

You will also have the following skills to be able to;Read, analyse and interpret instructions relating to the job function or assignmentExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenA reasonable level of mechanical aptitude.
