Our goal is to help practitioners practice. We achieve this by solving high value problems in partner software, leveraging all aspects of the payments cycle.We partner with software companies across all healthcare sectors, including primary care, hospitals, dental, allied health, specialists, pharmacy and more. We use our unique knowledge of both healthcare and payments to create valuable practitioner services which reduce errors, friction and ultimately free-up time for the provision of care.Medeor is a subsidiary of Medtech Global Pty Ltd. Both Medeor and Medeor are wholly-owned by Banyan Software.ResponsibilitiesManage the onboarding of new Merchants in a formal, regulated environment, working with third party providers and liaising directly with the Merchant as requiredOrchestrating the implementation of Medeor services, once the Merchant has been onboarded, working with partner software companies, terminal partners and MerchantsMonitoring payment transaction processing, managing any exceptions as required (under the oversight of Manager, Payment Operations), in order to monitor and mitigate riskMaintaining the Merchant Management process and database in accordance with Medeor policies, ensuring it is always accurateLiasing with L1 Customer Care teams in partner software companies Managing robust payment operations – ensuring that all batch processing is under effective operational controlFacilitate resolution of problems with payments partners, and improve processes as a result to drive continuous improvementWhen required, work closely with Compliance Manager to manage day-to-day flow of payments, and manage and mitigate risk Overseeing the production and delivery of Customer Reports and ExtractsMaintain good working relationships with participants of the payments supply chain vendorsFollowing policies and procedures; completing tasks correctly and on time; supporting the company’s goals and valuesEnsuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered toParticipating in Internal and External auditsContinuously look for opportunities to improve the payments operations processesWhat I Bring To The RoleA problem solver that enjoys figuring out how to continually improve processes and spot patternsOrganisation skills, and ability to take the initiative in order to deliver successful outcomesA conscientious and rigorous mindset, which can apply formal policies to ambiguous situationsAbility to prioritise multiple tasks and switch between them effortlesslyStrong focus and process improvement mindset - even if the task is repetitiveA genuine interest in payments and calculationsAbility to handle a large volume of informationAutonomous, proactive, self-dependent working styleResourcefulness, creativity and inquisitive approach to highly complex tasksCuriosity to learn and not afraid to ask when i don’t know the answerGrowth mindset – always looking for learning opportunities and using reflective practice and feedback to improve Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and switch between them effortlesslyA passion for healthcare is a must – this is our north star.
