We are looking for a Payments Specialist with with expertise in payments infrastructure and core banking systems. You can easily download it for free here: institute.projectivegroup.com.Some of the topics covered: Digital and central bank digital currencies; AI in payments; Regulatory change and cross-border challengesWhat will you do?As a Payments Specialist, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, driving the transformation of our clients’ payments infrastructure and services.Your expertise will enable financial institutions and players across the value chain - from fintechs to market infrastructures - to keep pace with changing customer behavior and technological innovationYour key responsibilities:Advise and develop new payment strategies, operational models and processes for our clientsSupport clients in transforming their payment processes to respond to changing customer behaviour and technological innovationsEnsure efficient cooperation between different payment markets and infrastructures, such as banks, financial institutions and fintechsContribute to the realisation of projects and/or programmes for clientsBe a representative of our progressive knowledge in the field of Payments, actively contributing to your personal development as well as that of the team and the organisation as a wholeYour skills and qualificationsExcellent knowledge of business English and Dutch or French+3 years of relevant experience in Payments-related initiatives within a consultancy, a bank or a payment services providerExperience in Business Analysis, Process Optimisation, Business Model, Test Management, Product Ownership or Product ManagementA dedication to driving innovation and operational excellence in the payments industry, with up-to-date knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies and regulatory developmentsA collaborative mindset, coupled with the ability to work autonomously when needed, and a can-do attitudeStrong plus if you have subject matter knowledge in areas such as:Payments and Core Banking – Understanding the backbone of payment systems and their integration within financial institutionsInstant Payments – Driving real-time transaction capabilities to enhance speed and efficiencySWIFT Innovations & Financial Messaging (MT & ISO 20022) – Navigating global payment networks and evolving messaging standardsMarket Infrastructure & Clearing & Settlement – Optimizing payment flows and ensuring regulatory compliance within financial ecosystemsPSD2, Open Banking & Embedded Finance – Leveraging regulatory shifts to unlock new payment opportunities and customer experiences.What can you expect from us?At Projective Group, we believe in rewarding ambition and supporting growth—both professionally and personally.
