About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail- oriented Payroll Assistant to join our Athens office. In this role, you will support our Payroll Team in providing outstanding services to our clients by assisting in all aspects of payroll operations. This is an opportunity for someone looking to grow in a collaborative and client- focused environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while maintaining the highest standards of service and accountability. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Actively participate in the end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Submit required forms and declarations to ERGANI, including new hires, terminations, and employment updates, in a timely and precise manner. Manage the submission of work schedules and modifications to ERGANI, aligning with client requirements and Greek Labor Law. Prepare and verify accounting entries related to payroll, ensuring proper integration with financial records and adherence to accounting standards. Collaborating with team members to suggest and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency and aligning with best payroll practices. Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports, payslips, and summaries to clients and relevant stakeholders.

Respond to client inquiries reagrding payroll issues, earnings, deductions, and timekeeping, providing clear and timely support. Stay up to date with cahnges in labor laws, social security, and tax regulations impacting payroll processing and apply necessary updates to procedures. Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating the highest standards of business ethics in all activities. Ensuring all work is completed accurately, thoroughly, and within deadlines. RequirementsWhat you bring We are looking for a professional who aligns with our values and has the following qualifications and skills: Experience:

At least one (1) year of experience in payroll processing, preferably within an accounting or payroll service environment. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; Familiarity with payroll software such as Epsilon Net is a plus. Knowledge: A strong understanding of Greek labor legislation and familiarity with ERGANI, SEPENET and e-EFKA. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Greek and English. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, with excellent analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining accuracy Time Management:

Ability to efficiently manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines. Communication: Clear, professional and effective written and verbal communication skills Problem- solving: Proactive and resourceful in identifying and resolving issues for clients. Team- Oriented: Flexible, collaborative, and embodying a can-do attitude. Professionalism: A commitment to confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
