eir evo talent are currently recruiting for a Payroll Business Systems Analyst for our client in Cork, this is a 6 month contract role. 2 days per week onsite in Cork. 6 month contractWe are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems — particularly Workday along with Payroll and WFM solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between HR and IT, leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and deliver business value through optimized system functionality.Your responsibilities:Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional system solutions.Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis for Workday and related HR/payroll systems.Partner with HR, Payroll and WFM process owners to identify automation and improvement opportunities across the employee lifecycle.Collaborate with external systems integrators and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery, alignment with the business requirements and adherence to best practices within the industryManage system changes through established change management processes, ensuring quality and compliance.Develop and maintain detailed process maps, system documentation, and data flow diagrams.Support ongoing releases and enhancements, including regression testing and stakeholder communication.Collaborate with technical teams on integrations between Workday, ADP, WFM and other enterprise applications.Your ProfileEssential skills: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related field.8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or HRIS Analyst, preferably in a global or complex organization.Proven hands-on experience with Workday HCM modules and integrations.Strong understanding of Payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP Payroll, Workday Payroll, or regional payroll providers).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and process requirements into actionable solutions.Strong documentation skills — process flows, functional specs, and test cases.Solid understanding of HR data models, compliance (GDPR), and security principles.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.  Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: Workday certification in one or more modules (e.g., HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Integrations).]Experience with data migration, reporting (Workday Report Writer, Prism Analytics), or integration tools (e.g., Studio, EIB).Exposure to large-scale HR transformation or system implementation projects.Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.  Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.   eir evo talent, eir evo and our clients are equal opportunity employers who seeks to recruit and appoint the best available person for a job regardless of marital / civil partnership status, sex (including pregnancy), age, religion, belief, race, nationality and ethnic or national origin, colour, sexual orientation or disability. eir evo talent, eir evo and our clients apply all relevant Data Protection laws when processing your Personal Data.   If you choose to apply to this opportunity and share your CV or other personal information with eir evo talent, eir evo and our clients, these details will be held by us in accordance with our privacy policy used by our recruitment team to contact you regarding this or other relevant opportunities at eir evo talent and eir evo
