Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)📍 Visp, SwitzerlandIndustry: Life Sciences / BiotechnologyAbout the RoleIn this key position, you will manage and execute payroll processes for employees based in Switzerland, ensuring full compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. You will coordinate all payroll-related activities, collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external providers, and ensure seamless payroll operations, including expatriate management.Relocation support is available for eligible candidates and their families.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all aspects of the third-party payroll provider for Swiss employees, including Board of Directors and international assignees.Instruct and monitor the payroll provider on legal, procedural, and internal changes.Manage payroll activities under Swiss laws, including processing new hires, terminations, transfers, taxes, deductions, child allowances, and direct deposits.Gather payroll and benefits information, prepare and verify monthly payroll instructions.Review internal payroll data, calculate overtime and premiums, and ensure compliance with local regulations.Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (ELM, Pro Familia, BESTA, salary certificates, etc.).Communicate with employees at all levels and coordinate with internal and external partners on payroll matters.Your ProfileProven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, ideally with a third-party payroll provider.Strong understanding of Swiss payroll legislation and processes (ELM, Pro Familia, BESTA, etc.).Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrix environment.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication in German and English.Great interpersonal and customer-facing skills.Independent, proactive, and highly reliable.What’s on OfferAgile career development in a dynamic, global life sciences environment.Inclusive and ethical workplace culture.Competitive compensation with recognition for high performance.A broad range of lifestyle, family, and leisure benefits tailored to local needs.
