We’re a collaborative, detail-driven team that supports the organisation through exceptional service.As a Payroll Officer, You WillDeliver timely, accurate payroll in line with legislation and deadlinesMaintain data integrity through checks, reporting, and reconciliationsProvide expert advice on payroll matters to staff across CouncilDrive service excellence and support continuous improvementThis position is based at Sunshine Coast City Hall, in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.About YouYou’re a payroll professional with a keen eye for detail and a solid foundation in payroll operations, backed by a Certificate IV or equivalent experience. You understand the ins and outs of payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation, and you’re confident navigating complex requirements.You bring precision and efficiency to everything you do. Whether juggling deadlines or solving payroll queries, your time management and customer service skills ensure smooth, reliable outcomes.Tech-savvy and adaptable, you’re confident using payroll systems and Excel.
