Cotton Center Blvd. , Ste. #110, Phoenix 85040 DESCRIPTION: Assignment Purpose: To issue paychecks and tax forms, while maintaining employee records. Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports are part of the process. Key Functions & Responsibilities:
Process and issue payments of wages/fees for domestic salaried and hourly employeesReconcile all payroll data, including all earnings, deductions, garnishments, and taxes. Coordinate with domestic, internal, and external departments for payroll changes and ancillary activity. Prepare monthly payroll reports, including all matters of payrollPrepare quarterly payroll reports, including Workers Compensation and United Way contributions. Assists the Payroll Manager, Payroll Supervisor, Auditors and employees with inquiries and research matters. Responsible for domestic year-end processing and W2 tax filing. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements required for candidate to be considered for this position:
⢠High School diploma or GED⢠4 years payroll, tax, and accounting experience Preferred Qualifications: ⢠6 months SAP experience, as well as 6 months ADP experience⢠Microsoft Office knowledge - Intermediate level⢠Practical use of a 10-key calculator⢠Ability to work in a team environment⢠Initiative-taker and motivated , capable to work remotely with minimal supervision Additional: The difference between the previous payroll clerk assignment and this assignment is the specialist needs to be a more experienced individual that can work independently but be proactive and take initiative.
Additionally, he or she will process the more complex company payrolls, which will included executive income, bonuses, equity, tax assistance, etc.
