Beyond managing payroll, compliance, and taxes, we integrate financial tools to maximise the value of every work payment, worldwide.We are expanding our global team, and we’re looking for our first Payroll Support Specialists to join the newly created Payroll Support team. This team will be the first line of support for payroll-related inquiries from our customers and Customer Success Managers.Would you like to take on a new challenge in the field of Finance in a successful, fast-growing global start-up?Location: RemoteSalary Range: FlexibleAs a Payroll Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling tier 1 payroll support requests and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to our customers. You will serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving straightforward cases independently and escalating more complex issues to internal Payroll Specialists or external in-country accountants. This role requires payroll knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work directly with clients in a professional and supportive manner.Key Responsibilities:Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from customers and Customer Success Managers.Handle and resolve tier 1 payroll support tickets efficiently and accurately.Identify and escalate complex payroll issues to internal Payroll Specialists or external in-country accountants.Provide clear, timely, and professional communication to customers, ensuring a positive client experience.Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Payroll teams to ensure smooth ticket handling and resolution.Keep detailed records of inquiries, resolutions, and escalations to support continuous improvement.Stay up-to-date with payroll basics, company processes, and EOR-specific requirements to continuously improve support quality.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in payroll support, HR operations, or customer-facing roles (experience in the EOR industry is a plus).Basic to mid-level knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain payroll topics in a clear and professional way.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
