Pearse Partners has partnered with a global investment bank seeking to expand its Consumer M&A team in New York with an Associate hire due to sustained deal activity and a strong pipeline of transactions. Key Responsibilities:
Execute M&A transactions across the Consumer sector, spanning sub-verticals such as retail, food & beverage, consumer services, and branded goodsManage all deal stages from origination to completion, including preparing marketing materials (IMs, teasers), financial models, and client presentationsTake a lead role in running valuations, conducting industry research, and coordinating due diligence processesSupport senior bankers in maintaining and developing client relationships with corporates, financial sponsors, and strategic investorsIdeal Background:
2–4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with exposure to the Consumer sectorStrong M&A execution track record (sell-side, buy-side, public and private transactions)Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to take ownership of transaction deliverablesExceptional communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
