SDEC is inviting applications from candidates who have experience working with all of the electrical circuits and electronic components of diesel genset package. The candidates are expected to work in a project for a mobile power project under the supervision of a project supervisor.In this job, a person is expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:Reading the engineering drawingsSnipping & Crimping wiresTerminating wires as per technical drawings/diagramsAvoid rework to the extent possible Installing meters and CTDoing electrical control wiringWiring VFD, Soft StarterDOL, Star Delta wiringTesting of StartersCheck and confirm that all electrical and electronic controls function as per OEM specifications and engineering drawingsModify alternator wiring based on required voltage and frequencyUse different metering equipment in quick and reliable fault diagnosisTrace out short circuits using appropriate instrumentsExamine electrical circuitry for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand toolsMaintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in orderDisassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment, using hand toolsPerform semi-skilled and unskilled tasks related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of Electrical & Electronic control and protection systemsTo assist in performing generator load tests. We are looking for:Trade certificate in Electrical and Electronics.At least 5 years of similar experience is necessary.Candidates with experience on mobile power plant will be given preference.Light Vehicle Driving License.Physically fit.Mandatory certificates are as below:H2S Level 2Fire Fighting Level 2First Aid Level 2 HAZCOM Level 2 Confined Space Level 2 Cert Hazard Recognition Level 2 CertLockOut TagOut Level 2 CertPermit To Work Certificate
