Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial reporting, managing operating capital, the accounting function, implementing SOP’s and improving internal financial controls. Supervising and supporting the finance teamFinancial reporting:
Collate, prepare and interpret reports Supervise the accounts payable, and accounts receivable functionsInventory control and managementEnsuring tax compliance and compliance with statutory regulationsSupervising the audit process and ensuring financial statements are completedManaging budgets and variance analysisImplement, enhance and oversee internal controls and SOP’sLiaising with managerial level staff and third-party stakeholdersRequirementsMinimum of 4 years of experience in a similar roleSound understanding of the finance function and a hands-on approachMinimum of 4 years of experience on Sage 50/ Sage 200 or similar systemPrevious experience in the FMCG, Fast Food or Retail sectorsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisationStrong presentation skillsMicrosoft Office experienceCost accounting experienceDiploma in Financial Management / Accounting qualificationValid code 8 driver’s licenseApply
