We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function within the retail sector. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of HR experience, preferably in managing HR operations across multi-store retail environments. You will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, HR policy compliance, and supporting the growth and development of our retail workforce. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail roles across stores and corporate functions. Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent aligned with retail business needs. Oversee onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
Act as a trusted advisor to store managers and retail leadership on employee matters. Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention. Address grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as needed. Manage performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes. Support managers in identifying training needs and coaching for performance improvement. Ensure adherence to local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HRIS data. Lead audits, HR reporting, and compliance-related documentation. Identify training needs for retail and corporate staff and implement training programs. Monitor training effectiveness and support career development paths.
Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and attendance systems. Contribute to compensation benchmarking and workforce planning. Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in HR, preferably in retail or consumer-facing industries. Proven experience in handling HR operations for multi-location or high-volume retail teams. Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance in the region. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficient in HRMS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth retail environment.
