We are pleased to announce the creation of a new role: Human Resources Generalist. This newly established position will also serve as HR Business Partner to the Korea Commercial Leader, balancing regional operational HR responsibilities with dedicated support for Korea. This position reports directly to the HR Director, APAC. Main Responsibilities / Main TasksHR GeneralistSupport annual salary reviews, bonus planning, and compensation adjustments. Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies across APAC. Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to maintain competitive pay structures.
Provide guidance to employees on benefits-related inquiries and claims. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR systems, with proficiency in Oracle HRIS. Collaborate with external vendors and manage benefit contracts and renewals. Prepare and analyze reports on compensation and benefits data to support decision-making. HR Business Partner – Korea CommercialPartner with the Korea Commercial Leader to align HR strategies with business objectives. Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning. Lead change management initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness. Support leadership development and provide coaching to Korea commercial teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace matters. Monitor and interpret HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for Korea and regional roles. Oversee performance management, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations. Administer compensation, benefits, and HRIS updates specific to Korea. Collaborate with regional HR teams to implement and localize global HR initiatives. Champion employee engagement and culture-building activities to foster a positive work environment. Qualifications- Education/Experience levels/Skills and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Experience & Skills:
3–5 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles, preferably in a regional or multinational setting. Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR compliance. Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Oracle HCM Cloud or similar enterprise systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
