As a People & Culture Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of that mission, providing vital operational and advisory support across the employee lifecycle. You’ll work alongside our Senior P&C Business Partners and leaders across the business to deliver trusted advice, embed best practice, and drive continuous improvement in how we support our people.This role is perfect for a P&C professional who enjoys variety, influence, and growth. You’ll have the opportunity to build your partnering capability by engaging directly with leaders across Chorus - coaching them through performance, development, and employee relations matters, supporting cyclical people processes, and contributing to key frameworks and policy design. You’ll bring curiosity, energy, and a strong sense of ownership to your work, combining operational excellence with the ability to influence and coach leaders. In addition, you will:Hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or a related field), with demonstrated HR Consultant experience within Aotearoa, New Zealand.Bring sound knowledge of New Zealand employment law and broad experience across the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, remuneration, performance, learning, change, and succession planning.Have experience leading HR projects and have hands-on experience with ER case management, including performance, disciplinary, and absentee processes.Act with integrity, exercise sound judgement, and take a practical approach to managing competing priorities and expectations.Build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across teams through your clear and professional communication.Mō mātou | About usWe’re shaping a future where all New Zealanders are free to access opportunities that define their own lives, as we expand our network to help Aotearoa grow.With a new strategy in place and a powerful, inspiring purpose, Chorus is an exciting space right now.
