The function includes around 30 professionals within Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, People Partnering, Payroll, Learning & Development, and Health, Safety & Environment. Sweden is the largest and most mature market with 3,500 employees, while other Nordic and Baltic countries are smaller and primarily sales-focused.The team is on an exciting transformation journey – moving towards a more digitalized, efficient and globally aligned operating model. Engagement is high, progress has been made, and there is a strong commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration.About the roleAs P&O Operations Director, Nordic & Baltic, you will lead and further develop the shared service center and play a key role in shaping the future of HR operations in the region. The role reports to the VP People & Organisation and carries full responsibility for strategic direction, leadership, and operational excellence across the function.You will drive transformation and change management, ensuring that HR processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with both local needs and global strategies. Close collaboration with Global Business Services (GBS) in Poland and global HR teams will be essential to build integrated, end-to-end people processes.Key responsibilities include:Lead and develop the P&O Operations Nordic/Baltic team, setting clear goals, structures, and collaboration models.Implement and adapt the global HR Operating Model to regional needs.Ensure compliant, digitalized, and efficient HR processes.Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives.Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, GBS, and trade unions.Manage budget and resources effectively.Actively contribute to driving operational excellence initiatives in a global context together with P&O operations management team.About youYou are an experienced and inspiring HR leader who thrives in complex, changing environments. You combine strategic vision with hands-on operational understanding and have a strong ability to build trust, engagement, and alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.You are a natural communicator who can navigate both local and global contexts, manage ambiguity, and drive transformation with clarity and purpose.Your skills and backgroundProven experience in leading and developing HR teams in both local and multinational environments.Strong track record in transformation, change management, and stakeholder engagement.Strong expertise in managing and optimizing of the full employee life cycle and HR processes. Proven understanding of the end-to-end employee life cycle and people processes.Experience in standardizing and digitalizing HR operations, preferably within a shared service setup.Strong collaboration skills with functions such as GBS, Total Rewards, and trade unions.Solid knowledge of labor law and experience from blue-collar environments.Experience in HR systems, preferably Workday and ServiceNow, data-driven decision-making, and ideally automation or AI-driven HR solutions.Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and spoken).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.LocationThis position will be based at one of our sites in Sweden: Huskvarna, Stockholm, or Jonsered, with a presence in Huskvarna at least 2 days a week.With our hybrid working environment, you’ll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members.Your applicationThis is an exciting time to join Husqvarna Group — apply as soon as possible, as we review applications on a rolling basis.
