ABOUT THIS WORK AREA As a People Planning Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Implementing the people planning strategy at a unit level, following principles/ guidelines as localised by the country People and Culture Team.• Managing the full function of the store staffing optimisation process from forecasting to the execution of the schedule by posting schedules in a timely manner.• Ensuring adherence to IKEA’s employment standards and legal requirements relating to People Planning.• Collaborating with the Unit’s recruiting team to ensure vacancies are filled with the appropriate contract and availability to ensure the best possible customer meeting.• Identifying possible improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate any potential deviation when the scheduled or actual hours exceed the agreed financial framework. As a People Planning Specialist you have :• Experience working with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.• A highly developed ability to analyse complex data and deliver the information to stakeholders in a simple to understand format.• A drive to improve current ways of working to enable successful outcomes for the customer, the co-worker, and the business.• Excellent attention to detail, can multi-task and can remain calm and agile in the face of changing business priorities.• Working knowledge in forecasting, scheduling, budget adherence and reporting within a workforce management system (UKG is preferred).
