Department: Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Reports to: Compensation Team Lead Employment Type: Full-Time Level: Analyst I Compensation: $25 - 32/hr Onsite, Full-timeAbout This RoleJoin our growing HRIS team as a Data Analyst I, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing our compensation data systems. This position offers an excellent entry point into HR analytics and compensation management, with significant growth potential for the right candidate who demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Key ResponsibilitiesPosition Code Management:

Create and maintain unique position codes for all employee roles, ensuring accurate identification for compensation adjustments and incentive programsData Entry & Maintenance: Perform detailed data entry tasks to support compensation structure changes, including creating new position codes when roles transition (e. g. , full-time to part-time positions)Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize, analyze, and maintain large datasets related to employee positions and compensation structuresQuality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HRIS compensation systemsProcess Support: Assist with systematic data updates that enable targeted compensation adjustments while maintaining internal equity complianceDocumentation:

Maintain detailed records of all position code changes and data modificationsWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related analytical fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry tasksComfortable working independently on detailed, methodical tasksStrong analytical mindset with appreciation for data-driven processesPreferred Qualifications: Previous experience with HRIS systems or HR data managementUnderstanding of compensation principles and structuresExperience with large dataset management
