Analyzing historical sales data and market trends to create accurate sales forecastsCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather insights on the factors that may impact demandEvaluate the production capacity of the factory and identify any potential constraintsConsider the availability of resources, such as machinery, labor, and raw materials, when planning productionBalance the need for maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand without overstockingImplement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and carrying costsAnalyzing planned and actual production data to identify variances and implement appropriate remedial actionsIdentifying and analyzing potential material write-offsExposure in preparation of MRP (Material Requirement Plan)Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering or a related fieldProfessional qualification in Supply chain management/Lean six sigma3–4 years of experience at a similar level preferably in the FMCG industryAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlinesStrong analytical skills with attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
