What will you do in this role?Drive and support the achievement of the optimum profit situation for Mercedes-Benz Mobility Mexico by continuously analyzing and monitoring the influential factors (e.g. financial market conditions, risk environment, cost of funds, etc.) and take appropriate corrective action. Ensure that procedures & internal processes for all functions within the area of responsibility (Finance, Controlling, Reporting, Credit Risk Management, & AML) are in place and appropriate. Supporting role to all other areas of the operations, especially when it comes to quality control of processes. Ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of controlling and credit risk processes according to rules and regulations provided by law and by internal guidelines.Your responsibilities will be:Determine and monitor frames for pricing of products (important role in the Pricing Committee) Lead planning and forecasting process. Provide effective strategic and operational plans / financial framework. Ensure planning, controlling and reporting of all costs and revenues in the legal entity. Report on performance against existing financial framework (including analysis and comment on performance variance). Initiate corrective measures as needed and control the implementation of such measures. Ensure adherence to policy concerning the management of interest rates, liquidity and foreign exchange risk. Provide project support with respect to financial data and control project results. Analyze and interpret costs and variations of the interest generated by the debt contracting, for the granting of financing plans to the different types of customers of the company. Active communication with the Regional Treasury team in relation to the contracting of loans according to the needs of the business. Constant interaction with various areas of the company, derived from the preparation and delivery of reports related to bank movements.Ensure development of local risk policy and adequate credit underwriting. Ensure implementation that effective procedures and systems are in place to provide reasonable 20% assurance that relevant information for risk reporting is captured, processed and reported timely, accurately and in sufficient detail to effectively manage the entity’s risk exposure. Assessing, evaluating and mitigating risks appropriately and in compliance with internal and external statutory regulations. Analyze and control the portfolio risk, initiate corrective measures if needed. Analyze and control the credit portfolios, initiate corrective measures if needed. Monitor the credit quality and provide guidanceDefine data-driven strategies by leveraging emerging technologies, keen analytical abilities and a laser focus on addressing the business initiatives, rooted in data. Work cross-functionally between teams to guide measurement frameworks, learning agendas, data strategy, and performance analytics. Support the auditing team on a variety of internal audits, including financial, operational, and management review. Follow standard auditing procedures and ensure practices aligning with financial risk management best practices. Ensure that the company complies with the regulatory requirements and policies, including AML. Other responsibilities include assessing the legality of company practices. Lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations based on the mission statement. Ensure target-oriented internal communication. Inform and instruct allocated employees on the appropriate compliance regulations. Control proper implementation of Finance, Controlling, Credit Risk and AML regulations. Ensure compliance of Finance & Controlling, Credit Risk and AML team with all applying group and local rules and regulations (safety and economic regulations, working hours regulation, policies) as well as defined processes (according to effective regulations/documents). What You'll BringBachelor of administrative economics (preferably accounting, finance or actuarial science).MBA or master’s degreeAt least 5 years of experience in finance planning and controlling departments and reserves under IFRS 9 methodology Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory) German (desired)Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP & OLAP cubesProject management through digital toolsAdvanced knowledge of financial productsDatabase management through multidimensional cubes.
