Permanent Substitute Teacher

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Permanent Substitute Teacher, located in Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. The position is available to start this school year. The Permanent Substitute Teacher will oversee classrooms and provide instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. Responsibilities include delivering lesson plans, managing classroom environments, supporting students in meeting academic objectives, and assisting with additional school-related activities as needed. The role requires maintaining a positive and productive learning environment while collaborating with staff and adhering to the school's standards and policies.QualificationsExperience in Education and Training, with a solid understanding of instructional techniques and methodologiesEffective Communication skills to engage and support students, as well as collaborate with colleagues and parentsFlexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work in a dynamic classroom environmentBachelor's degree in Education or a related fieldProficiency in English is strongly preferredPrior teaching experience or a teaching certification is an advantage.QualificationsFluent in EnglishStrong classroom management and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and studentsTeaching certification or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
