Permit Manager

Gi Group is looking for a Permit Manager for one of our clients, a leading international company active in large-scale infrastructure, energy, and civil engineering projects.This is a 1-year opportunity based in Bucharest, followed by a long-term relocation (around 5 years) to Drobeta-Turnu Severin.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in managing permits, documentation, and coordination within complex construction or energy environments. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Minimum 5 years of experience in permit management within large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects (railway experience preferred).Strong knowledge of local permitting processes in Romania or previous experience in EU projects.Proven ability to liaise with governmental and local authorities.Fluent in English; knowledge of Romanian is a significant advantage.Experience working on EU-funded projects.Familiarity with environmental impact assessments (EIA), land acquisition processes, and construction-related legal procedures.Legal background or experience working alongside legal teams on regulatory matters.
