POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Head to lead the financial operations for our two legal entities in Korea.

This leadership role requires a hands-on individual who can provide strategic financial insights, manage project, and cost center budgets, and ensure compliance with both local and international financial regulations (K GAAP, IFRS). The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to the Country Head, driving business performance, growth, and managing financial risks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Partnering: Serve as the key financial advisor to the Country Head, providing insights on performance, growth, and risk areas. Collaborate with business units to ensure profitability and cost control. Budget & Financial Management: Oversee and track project and cost center budgets.

Work with teams to deliver profitable projects and meet budget targets. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely financial reporting to the APAC SBU and Japan HQ, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure full compliance with and financial reporting standards (K GAAP, IFRS), Korean Tax, Korean labor laws and payroll regulations, Lead the statutory audit process to completion. Team Leadership: Manage a lean, junior finance team, including the payroll team responsible for large-scale payroll operations. Provide mentorship and hands-on guidance in daily financial operations. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring strong internal controls and financial governance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA or similar certification preferred. Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in managerial capacity. Fluent in Korean and English. Proven ability to lead and develop a lean finance team. Strong business partnering abilities, advanced financial modeling, and hands-on experience in budgeting and forecasting. Expertise in K GAAP, IFRS, corporate tax, and labor law in Korea.
