Estimator - Infrastructure

This position requires an analytical individual who can systematically process technical specifications, perform precise quantity takeoffs, and create accurate cost models that ensure project success. Key ResponsibilitiesExecute detailed quantity takeoffs for complex infrastructure components, including underground utilities, civil structures, and treatment systemsAnalyze technical specifications and engineering documents to extract precise scope requirementsMaintain comprehensive databases of material costs, productivity rates, and technical specificationsDevelop accurate unit price analyses based on historical data, market conditions, and engineering standardsImplement structured processes for documentation of assumptions, clarifications, and exclusionsCreate detailed scopes of work for subcontractor and vendor solicitations, with clear technical requirementsSystematically analyze subcontractor proposals for technical compliance and scope coverageTrack bid market activity with focus on infrastructure, utilities, and water/wastewater treatment projectsSupport value engineering efforts through data-driven cost analyses and alternative methodology evaluationsDocument technical requirements, specifications, and standards for successful project handoffPerform quality control checks on all estimate components to ensure accuracy and completenessBuild specialized knowledge in water/wastewater treatment systems, pumping stations, and civil infrastructureIdeal Candidate Profile6+ years of progressive estimating experience with specialized knowledge in infrastructure, utilities, and water/wastewater projects and/or general construction.
