Job Requirements: Has an engineering degree, preferably B. S. Mechanical EngineeringMust be a Registered Mechanical Engineer/Professional Licensed Engineer. Has 2-3 years minimum of related work experience in operations (in Bottling or Filling Plant; or in Machine Shop or Fabrication Works)Job Responsibilities: Oversee the filling line operations of the assigned equipment and/or filling line. To ensure all production concerns are given proper attention and reported to filling line supervisor for escalation. To ensure that all filling line output guarantee quality products by performing Quality Control checks at critical points in the line.
Ensure that the assigned output/target are met or exceeded by his assigned filling line. Ensure all monitoring sheets, inventories, equipment logged for downtime are done after production. Ensures that efficiency and productivity targets are attained, wastage and rework are continuously reduced through full ownership of machine operation. proper equipment maintenance and changeovers. Proactive identification and resolution of any potential problems prior to them impacting on technical issues, quality, service and cost. Ensure that the equipment setpoint and standards are maintained and that all machines are operated at its optimum setting.
Recommends corrective actions on potential risk areas to prevent major problems by highlighting issues that impact on safety, quality, productivity, and cost implement corrective actions as needed. Support asset performance and maintenance programs. Ensure that all filling tracers are close-out the next day.
