Pride Health is hiring a Retail Pharmacist to support our client’s medical facility in Zanesville, OH. This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Title: Retail Pharmacist (RPh)Location: Zanesville, OH 43701Shift: Varied shifts, 40 hours/week (includes weekend and holiday rotation)Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension.Job Summary:The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals in a retail pharmacy environment. This role requires current retail-based experience and strong customer service skills to support patients and maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions according to federal and state regulations.Provide patient education, medication counseling, and vaccination services.Review prescriptions for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and oversee pharmacy technicians.Deliver excellent customer service and ensure patient confidentiality.Operate and document all transactions in the RX30 pharmacy system (preferred).Qualifications:Required:Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing.Minimum 1 year of current retail pharmacy experience.Vaccination certification at time of submission.Preferred:Experience with the RX30 pharmacy management system.Best Regards,Tabish Ahmad
