Position SummaryReporting to the Director, Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing a variety of services including medication distribution, (order entry, dispensing, checking and delivery), manufacturing and sterile product preparation, including chemotherapy.Education RequirementsRegistered by Ontario College of PharmacistsMandatory QualificationsExperience in a computerized pharmacy environmentExceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a team focusSelf-directed individual with the ability to work both independently and within an inter professional teamMature, reliable individual with excellent attendance recordCreative problem solver with a customer focus and patient friendly approachGood understanding of medication safety and quality assurance Proven critical thinking skillsAbility to multitask and set priorities in a rapidly changing environment.Preferred CompetenciesReliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts Chemotherapy preparation experienceExperience in IV PreparationKeyboarding skills utilizing PC applications for reports and special assignmentsExperience in a hospital pharmacy environmentPrimary Responsibilities Also IncludeSafety (patient, worker & workplace) is a BCHS Corporate Priority.
