Job descriptionVacancy: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: Caring Habitat, Abraham Adesanya LagosAbout Us: Caring Habitat is a 40-room purpose-built inpatient skilled nursing and rehabilitation hospital designed to complement the health outcomes of patients through the delivery robust rehabilitation program. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Technician to support the Head of Pharmacy in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and has a solid understanding of pharmaceutical processes and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Assist the pharmacist in preparing prescription and over-the-counter medications.Accurately label and package medications.Manage inventory, restock shelves, and check for expired medications.Enter and maintain patient information and prescriptions in the pharmacy system.Process insurance claims and handle billing issues.Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to clarify prescriptions and provide information.Maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Support patient privacy and uphold confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Qualifications:A Bsc or HND in any science related discipline.A valid Pharmacy Technician Certificate.At least 2-3 years of Pharmaceutical Experience.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient with pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Pay packages:Net pay of 180,000HMO after 3monthsPerformance incentiveLeave benefitsPensionCandidates must reside within Lekki and environsQualified candidates should send their CVs to caringhabitatgl@gmail.com, using "Pharmacy Technician" as the subject of the email.
