Job Description

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Technical Assistance to Africa CDC - Accelerating Digital Health Transformation in Africa - TEI Digital health and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen health systems through integrated, patient-centred digital solutions development at the Primary Health Care (PHC) level, in line with the Africa CDC Digital Transformation Strategy.Location: Africa.Duration: The indicative start date is 23/11/2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 28 Month(s) from this date (indicative end date: 23/03/2028).PHC Digitalization and Systems Integration Specialist (Cat. I)☝️ Qualifications and skills:Completed University studies of at least 3 years in Health Informatics /Digital Health, Data Science, Information Systems / Computer Science. In its absence, 5 years of equivalent professional experience.Fluency in English is required; working knowledge of French is an asset.☝️ General professional experience:Expertise demonstrated by consolidated experience of 12 years in the fields related to digital health, health information systems (HIS), or data analytics in healthcare.Experience in developing digital health observatories, dashboards, or data analytics platforms.Experience with digital health initiatives in Africa, including working with the AU/ Africa CDC, governments, NGOs, donor agencies (e.g., WHO, UNICEF, World Bank, USAID, Africa CDC).Knowledge of health technology ecosystems in Africa, including mHealth, eHealth, telemedicine, and electronic medical records (EMRs).Experience in policy analysis, strategic planning, and investment mapping in healthcare.☝️ Specific professional experience:Experience in digitizing primary health care services and integrating digital solutions within national health information systems.Experienced in designing and deploying digital health tools in primary care and community health settings.Strong understanding of HIS integration (e.g., DHIS2), community health systems, interoperability, frontline health worker training, and operational scale-up in low-resource contexts.Familiarity with health system interoperability, electronic health records (EHRs), telemedicine, mHealth, and data governance.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply and upload your CV via LinkedIn or sent to recruitment@ntu.eu.
