Excellent opportunity for a PhD Graduate or experienced Scientist to join a Medical Devices Leader in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or have submitted their thesis for a PhD and have experience with ELISA's, Western Blotting or Laboratory Diagnostics. The key requirements is to be a critical thinker and apply this knowledge in the development of new medical device products for the lab.Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request):Project Management: Manage product and process improvements independently.Improvements: Monitor processes, address trends, and implement solutions.Risk Management: Maintain and evaluate risk management files.Investigations: Lead investigations, resolve issues, and support audits.Technical Support: Design experiments, analyse data, and recommend actions.Knowledge Sharing: Present findings and mentor team members.Results Focus: Ensure product availability and drive cost-effective improvements.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:Relevant third-level qualification in a scientific/technical field or equivalent experience.Minimum 2 years’ related experience or advanced degree preferred (PhD).Works independently as an individual contributor.Requires specialised knowledge of product/process design, standardisation, and control methods.Skilled in experimental, statistical, and project management tools.Resolves varied but recurring issues.Innovative thinker guided by established practices.For a confidential discussion on the PhD Graduate Scientist role, please contact Emma Barry today.
