Established in 1998, the Mechatronics Section conducts advanced research in areas such as nonlinear control, robotics, multi-agent systems, power electronics, vibration compensation, and transport systems. Successful Candidates Will Be Expected To– Establish and lead independent research programs within the Mechatronics Section.
– Teach graduate-level courses and supervise students. – Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary research activities. – Apply for and secure external research funding. Minimum Requirements– Doctoral degree in Mechatronics, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. – Demonstrated commitment to research and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. – Proficiency in English and willingness to teach and supervise in Spanish within one year of appointment. – Willingness to relocate to Mexico City (visa support provided; travel expenses are not covered).
