The successful candidate will focus on the cellular and virological characterization of HIV-1 cell-to-cell dissemination to macrophages from infected T cells. This research aims to advance understanding of the mechanisms underlying HIV-1 transfer, viral persistence, and the role of infected macrophages in tissue reservoirs.
The position will be based at the Saints-Pères site in Paris, under the supervision of Dr. Serge Benichou, with collaborative support from Dr. Florence Marguet and Dr. Gregory Lavieu.
