University: Concordia UniversityCountry: CanadaDeadline: June 3, 2025The Concordia Applied AI Institute (AI2) invites applications for a Research Assistant position in Machine Learning, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and large language models. This opportunity is available exclusively to current Concordia students and is governed by the CREW Collective Agreement. The successful candidate will join the AI Adoption team to contribute to a project for the Québec provincial government, developing AI tools to streamline the analysis of collective agreements. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, model design and tuning, training, and evaluation.
Requirements– Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science or a related field at Concordia University– Experience with training and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for NLP tasks– Proficiency in handling large datasets of varying quality– Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (e. g.
