About The RoleReporting to the Director of Events, the Guest Services Manager plays a critical role in supervising and coordinating all aspects of our Guest Services Department.
From managing staff and supporting live events to maintaining high standards in guest experience, service, and safety, you'll be at the heart of everything we do to make events memorable and successful.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all Guest Services operations, including bar service setup, execution, and tear-downHire, train, schedule, and supervise a diverse team including Guest Services Supervisors, Event Captains, Attendants, and the Inventory TeamCollaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless, high-quality eventsAnticipate client needs and ensure outstanding service from start to finishConduct staff briefings and ensure clear communication of event expectationsMaintain compliance with liquor, health, and safety regulationsMonitor guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns in a professional mannerEnsure proper cash-handling procedures and loss prevention protocolsImplement training, operational procedures, and performance management practicesWhat You BringProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage teams, multitask, and make decisions under pressureStrong knowledge of event operations, beverage service, and regulatory complianceProficiency in administrative systems and event tracking toolsExperience balancing staffing needs with operational efficiencyPrevious experience in large-scale event execution is a strong assetQualificationsA diploma or certificate in Hotel & Restaurant Administration (or related field) from a recognized two-year post-secondary institutionMinimum 2 years' experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory roleMust provide a current, acceptable Criminal Record CheckSchedule & Work EnvironmentThis is not your typical 9-5 job.
The role primarily involves afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Extended hours are expected during peak event times.
