Who Are We Looking For?Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering disciplineMinimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in a technical or engineering roleLicensed Engineer is an advantageExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficientlyPrior experience in line maintenance or related operational support functions is an advantageMajor Responsibility AreasDirect oversight and control of the outsourced Line Maintenance by the contracted maintenance provider in MNL and outstations for the PR FleetDirect oversight and control of outsourced Maintenance Services - Maintenance Control, AOG handling, flight mechanic services, etc.
Monitors and control implementation of Maintenance programs, modification, repairs, compliance of Airworthiness Directives, and time limited AMM procedure and conformance for the PR FleetAct as the Technical Operations Department administrative officer during weekends, holidays and beyond normal office hoursCoordination on aircraft availability / unavailability to IOCC (Integrated Operations Control Center).
To provide recommendation on aircraft changes in coordination with Maintenance Provider’s Maintenance Control CenterTo comply with applicable regulations and standards of Philippine Airlines; actively involves with Safety Management System by reporting all accidents, incidents, and any hazard in the workplace; and being safety conscious by exercising duty of care in the performance of dutiesTo adhere to the Quality Standards of PAL as stated in the applicable operations manual, to be responsible for the quality of his work and to strive for continuous quality improvement
