Job SummaryAt Bmedia, we capture premium photo and video content for a wide range of Australian brands across hospitality, fitness, fashion, and lifestyle. We’re looking for a talented Remote Photo & Video Editor to turn that raw, unedited footage into polished, on-brand content ready for social media, web, and advertising use.You’ll receive detailed creative briefs, storyboards, and references from our creative team and will be responsible for editing, color grading, and exporting final deliverables that align perfectly with client goals and brand tone.This role is ideal for an editor who thrives on creative direction, understands marketing-driven storytelling, and can deliver fast, high-quality work within deadlines — all while collaborating remotely with our Australia-based production and strategy teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProven experience in content production, including planning, filming, and editing social media or marketing content.Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve).Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and LUT workflows.Strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and platform-specific content formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).Excellent organizational skills — capable of managing multiple projects and timelines for up to 20 clients.Strong creative judgment and visual composition skills.Ability to work effectively in a remote, async-first environment with teams across time zones.Proficiency in file management, media organization, and cloud storage workflows (Google Drive, Dropbox, or Frame.io).Strong communication skills — able to interpret briefs, give creative input, and provide status updates clearly.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, on-brand content.Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with Australian-based teams.Nice to havesStrong graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Figma to create supporting assets.Familiarity with motion graphics and animation (After Effects, CapCut Motion, or similar).Understanding of paid media creative principles — how visuals perform across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Ads.Ability to produce UGC-style videos and authentic, creator-led content.Experience directing on-location shoots or coordinating small production crews.Comfortable working with remote collaboration tools such as Notion, ClickUp, Slack, or Frame.io.Understanding of brand identity and storytelling for multi-client environments.Passion for staying ahead of social trends, editing styles, and content formats.What is it like working at Bmedia?Bmedia is a remote-friendly, async-first team that values creativity, clear communication, and continuous learning.
