Photographer - Volunteer

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina (in-person) Commitment: Event-based (2–4 hours per event) — typically 1 event / month Type: Volunteer (unpaid) — travel expenses reimbursed when possibleAbout OLEGISAR OLEGISAR is an active organization focused on legal, civic and public-policy initiatives. We produce events, reports and campaigns that need high-quality photography to document work, promote activities and feed social channels.Role summaryWe’re looking for a reliable, creative photographer to cover in-person events (seminars, workshops, street actions, portraits, and documentary shoots), produce edited image sets, and collaborate with our communications team to deliver assets optimized for web and social.Key responsibilitiesPhotograph events, portraits, and on-site activities with a professional eye for storytelling.Deliver a curated set of edited images (light retouching, color correction, cropping) within 7 days of each event.Provide high-resolution files for print and resized versions for web/social.Coordinate with the communications lead on shot lists, timing and usage rights.Preserve metadata and provide brief captions/credits for each image.Occasionally assist with basic photo selection for posts or reports.Ideal candidateOwns professional camera equipment (DSLR or mirrorless) and basic lighting gear.Strong portfolio demonstrating event, portrait and documentary work.Proficient with Lightroom and/or Photoshop for editing and batch processing.Comfortable working in fast-paced, public environments; punctual and professional.Good communication skills and ability to take direction.Spanish and/or English language skills are a plus.Time & logisticsTypical shoot: 2–8 hours (depending on event).Deliverables: 20–60 edited images per event (final count agreed beforehand).Minimum commitment: 3 months preferred (to build continuity).This is an in-person role — you must be able to travel to event locations in Buenos Aires.Usage & creditOLEGISAR will have exclusive rights to use images for promotional, reporting and social media purposes.
