You will be working in a team within a dynamic, fast-paced, fun, challenging and creative environment in order to achieve team-oriented goals.What you'll be doing: Help coach and train team membersContribute to the overall tech decisions and help the team to achieve their goalsSolve complex problems by applying best practicesWork on large-scale object-oriented applications with PHPAnalyze product requirements and translating to design specificationsPerform peer code review and offer recommendations for improvements.Work in an agile environmentWork with exciting technologies (Docker, Microservices, Elasticsearch, Redis, PHP 8+, Laravel, REST APIs, WebSockets & more)What you'll need to be successful: Must haves:3+ years related work experience as a backend software developer, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering an asset Excellent knowledge of web technologies in PHP and relational databasesExperience with various web related technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, caching, message queues, WebSockets, Docker, Composer, etc.Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies an assetExcellent understanding of SOLID principles and clean coding standardsHTML/JS/CSS knowledge foundationNice-to-haves:Experience in dealing with large scale websites is an asset Knowledge of LinuxKnowledge with CI/CD Pipelines As an equal opportunity employer, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees In this role you may be exposed to adult content
