Picture Editor – High-End PublisherPermanent | Full-time | Hybrid (3 days in London office) | £38,000–£45,000We’re working with a renowned creative publisher known for producing beautifully crafted magazines, books, and digital content.They’re looking for an experienced Picture Editor to join their London team and play a key role in shaping the visual direction of their projects.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and imaginative picture professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with editorial, design and production teams to source, commission and manage outstanding photography across print and digital platforms.Key Responsibilities:Source, select and edit images that bring editorial stories and creative concepts to life.Manage picture research, rights negotiations, budgets and clearances.Commission and oversee photographers, ensuring briefs, deadlines and budgets are met.Produce and manage shoots where required.Maintain organised image archives and ensure copyright compliance.Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to deliver exceptional visual content.About You:Minimum 5 years’ experience in a picture editing or visual research role.Strong knowledge of image sources, libraries, museums and archives worldwide.Skilled in photo editing software and up to date with digital image tools and trends.Excellent eye for design, detail and visual storytelling.Calm, methodical and solutions-focused under pressure.Confident communicator with a genuine passion for culture, art and publishing.If you’re a creative, detail-oriented picture editor who loves curating powerful imagery and working with world-class brands, we’d love to hear from you.
